The Final Cog: Part 23 - Can We Stop This?

Nope.

Slow it down? Yes. Stop it? Not a chance.

The only true way to stop this is to have a Christian or armed revolution in China, the US, or for Americans to stand up and refuse to endorse this evil trade scheme anymore. The SPP has wisely refused to call anything a treaty because it would need the Senate's approval. If many of these things still exist only in "agreement" form, it would technically be possible for a patriotic president to pull us out of those agreements. However, the sad reality is that most Americans don’t care about government oppression anymore – ours or anyone else’s. We no longer care about the plight of sweatshop workers – just don’t do it on our soil! We’ll continue to look the other way as long as we can have cheaper goods. I honestly don’t think enough of us are willing to sacrifice enough to change things anymore.

Case in point: Several years ago, we had an election for governor in New Jersey. For anyone not in Jersey, we have tolls (so far) on the Garden State Parkway, the Atlantic City Expressway, and I-95 (the NJ Turnpike and future Atlantic Corridor). The Republican candidate proposed tearing down the tolls in exchange for a slight increase in gasoline taxes in order to continue to have revenue for the roadways' upkeep – voters ridiculed the plan and screamed, “You’re not increasing MY taxes!” He lost, we kept the tolls, and they’ve been increased several times since and are scheduled to continue increasing through at least 2020. So NJ taught me that there are too many shortsighted people who vote and they way outnumber the people with common sense. Maybe the rest of the nation isn’t as stupid as New Jersey, but I’ve grown more cynical the older I’ve gotten. The states with common sense don’t have the population to compete with the rest of the country.

I honestly believe that if you told Americans that we will no longer buy from the Communists, that we will be moral leaders and reject the evils of Communism and the human rights violations of the regime in Beijing by ending almost all trade with Red China and thus returning manufacturing to the United States IN EXCHANGE for a 5% - 10% increase in the cost of almost everything we buy, most Americans would stand up and shout, “Enslave those peasants, China!”

Why do we not care anymore? I think half of the country honestly believes “it’s the economy, stupid,” and they do not care what it takes as long as we get to have money in our pocket and cheap crap at the store. The other half of our nation knows they simply cannot afford that kind of a price hike thanks to the government’s constant devaluing of our dollar. They also love this country too much to believe that it's being sold right out from under them.

Look at everything the world is doing in exchange for Red China’s cheap labor: building bigger barges, deeper ports, larger cranes, super corridors, high-speed railways, dry canals, a possible Nicaraguan canal, removing our borders, uniting our laws and currencies; governments and businesses around the world are investing trillions of dollars into this system. Do you honestly think any political party can stop it? Any national vote? Any blog essay? We must look facts in the face: NO ONE in the big two parties is planning on bringing back American manufacturing jobs as we know them. As we’ve seen, the only massive attempt at creating manufacturing jobs is south of the border so we can have our slaves a little closer to home – but not TOO close…

What if America Rebelled?

We can't depend on the Chinese to rebel because their enslavement has also resulted in 50 million Chinese being lifted out of poverty and into the middle class. There are even millionaires being made in Communist China. So the sweatshops, environmental catastrophes, forced abortions, no free speech or religious rights, black prisons, and 'education through labor' programs in China will be acceptable because "it's the economy, stupid."

But what of the American sovereignty movement? I believe it will slowly disappear. There are too many Americans – myself included – that will not give up everything in order to fight this juggernaut. Think about it: should the American landscape turn into Colombia? Palestine? Iraq? Are you willing to take your shotgun and go after stealth bombers? Are you willing to take your family to a mall that might have a suicide bomber waiting inside? Are you willing to take out uncountable innocents in order to return to a free republic? That is what this war will look like. It’s not like a war of the past. Any future American civil war will look like the nations I have mentioned. And I firmly believe that most Americans are not willing to fight that fight - even those dedicated to the Republic. Most Americans would pick free trade and integration over that reality.

And don’t think that the American government would be reluctant to fight another 'civil' war – they’d actually welcome it. A new war would be the final excuse to completely solidify the power of the federal government. A new era of carpetbaggers would emerge that would forever change the political landscape of America. At least right now conservatives and traditionalists still have their pockets of influence in certain areas of the country. That will all end with a war much like the states' rights movement did after 1865.

I used to think America’s enemies would welcome our disunion, but I’ve started to reconsider that notion. We owe so many nations money that it would be a disaster for them if we broke apart. No, many of them will not let that happen – not after all the investments they’ve been making. They will be by the government's side because that will guarantee them a bigger slice of the pie when they rebuild us like we’re rebuilding Iraq. If you think America has been reduced to just a marketplace now, wait until a post-war America emerges. I would love to see a breakaway republic emerge, but I know the world will not allow that to happen.

Am I saying our Republic not worth fighting for? No, I still believe in a constitutional republic as our Founders envisioned. But the nation our founders created died in 1865. Well, to be more accurate that nation fell into a coma in 1865, was taken off of life support by FDR, was smothered to death by LBJ, and then Clinton, Bush, and Obama have taken turns stomping on its corpse. Our sovereignty is not at stake because it hasn’t existed for over 100 years. It is all an illusion.

You Said It Can Be Slowed Down?

Sure, as long as the people of America are educated about what’s going on. President James Monroe has some of the best quotes on the responsibilities of the public that I have ever found. In his first inaugural address, he was describing why the United States was a different kind of nation compared to the rest of the world. He said, “Had the people of the United States been educated in different principles, had they been less intelligent, less independent, or less virtuous, can it be believed that we should have maintained the same steady and consistent career or been blessed with the same success?”

A mistake that many in America make today is that we put too much power in the lap of our government and then we complain when they take even more. We never blame ourselves for voting for these scumbags in the first place. President Monroe never ignored the people’s role in directing the path of government. He predicted that a populace educated in the Constitution will keep our nation on its proper path, but an uneducated population will destroy this nation. He said, “While, then, the constituent body retains its present sound and healthful state everything will be safe. They will choose competent and faithful representatives for every department. It is only when the people become ignorant and corrupt, when they degenerate into a populace, that they are incapable of exercising…sovereignty.”

President Monroe concluded, “The people themselves become the willing instruments of their own debasement and ruin. Let us, then, look to the great cause, and endeavor to preserve it in full force. Let us by all wise and constitutional measures promote intelligence among the people as the best means of preserving our liberties." So as I said elsewhere in this series, it is the fault of the American people that we have gotten to where we are today. So, you can also say that it is up to the American people to slow down our destruction, too.

The way things stand right now, I am convinced that the NAU crowd is unstoppable. Sure, I will be optimistic about things and always pray for REAL change. I will continue to pay attention to current events and constantly complain about them, but I can see reality for the first time. There are too many Americans that will happily support integration. There’s also a large amount of Americans not willing to sacrifice their livelihoods and families to fight for decades against the global monolith that is the United States government. This is reality – most Americans have no desire to live like they do in Palestine or Iraq. The problem with standing up against things now is that we’ve waited too damn long to fight. This fight should have happened 100 years ago.

Conclusion

I pray to God that I am wrong about our happy and voluntary loss of independence – I would never be happier to be wrong, but I don’t think I am. Many Americans have lost their foundation and will welcome a North American Union – as well as the New World Order – with open arms. The only way to slow this down is through educating the masses. The problem is that we can’t depend on the public school system to educate Americans on history and the Constitution, nor can the best-written arguments convince people that don’t care or don’t have the time. The people that can educate the masses are too busy working and taking care of their families.

So what hope does that leave us with?
